THE ESSENTIAL FIBRES. A core element of our philosophy is to make these pieces highly durable and design them to withstand lots of wear and washing, which is why we create them exclusively with a high-quality single fabric. This collection is made from 100% organic cotton. 0% polyester.
Unlike conventional cotton, organic cotton comes from seeds that have not been genetically modified (non-GMO) and it is grown without using chemical insecticides, fertilizers, or pesticides. This means that no hazardous or toxic substances are introduced into the soil, neighboring rivers, or lakes.
Organic cotton farming uses natural methods, such as crop rotation, which benefit not only the soil, fauna and the environment, but create biodiversity and promote good health and quality of life for farmers and their communities.
Furthermore, when it comes to recyclability and circularity, mono-fibers always win. Even if blended (mixed) fibres could be recycled, dividing them to make them reusable is much more resource intensive.
